NEWS - SEPTEMBER 2010 - PAINT THE TOWN MORRISON
Logo goes urban

Designed by design loft, inc., the Paint the Town 2010
logo reminds you of the graffiti art you see on the sides
of train cars passing through Morrison.
As noted above from the newspaper article from The Whiteside
Sentinel, the logo for Paint the Town 2010 is based on
graffiti seen on buildings in urban areas. It's meant
to depict a less structured, more free-flowing style of
art than seen in the logo for 2009. That, if you recall
was a series 15 stacked geometric cubes to represent 15
years and 1500 squares.
The PTT board began working with Lindsay
Reams of design loft, inc. in early 2010 to come up with
this year's design. Reams was a 1995 graduate of Morrison
High School and also designed the Paint the Town website
which features this new logo.
The website at www.paintthetownmorrison,com
includes not only the new logo, but registration forms
as well. Online registration is $11 per person.
