Lisa Rosenow & Lindsay Reams: Entrepreneurial
Sisters
While sisters and friends Lindsay Reams
and Lisa Rosenow share a lot of things in common, one
quality that really stands out is their entrepreneurial
skills. Both Lindsay and Lisa had a dream to own their
own business and neither were going to settle for anything
less.
"It was always my goal to eventually go
out on my own," says Lindsay. After four years of working
for an advertising agency, Lindsay decided to start Design
Loft, Inc., a design company that specializes in logos,
identity materials, print and website design. "I pride
myself in meeting deadlines and being flexible for my
clients." Working in the mornings before her husband leaves
for work, during her two boys' nap time and then in the
evenings, Lindsay has certainly learned the importance
of time management. "It has been amazing to be successful
on my own and be a full time stay-at-home mom. It really
is a dream come true!"
Lisa, on the other hand, owns a much different
business. After working nine years in the hotel industry,
witnessing the planning of events and then most recently
planning her own wedding (to be held this month), Lisa
was inspired to become a certified International Event
and Wedding Planner. Lisa started The RSVP Events, Inc.
this past summer. "Lindsay's insight as a successful
business owner has been helpful to me while starting my
own," notes Lisa. The RSVP Events specializes in
all those special occasions in life, from weddings to
private parties to corporate events. "It's rewarding
to be such a big part in helping people plan some of the
most important events of their lives," says Lisa.
Both companies are based out of nearby Plainfield.
